Where Would You Like to Go?

What kind of location are you thinking of for your photos? Some things to think about are do you like a natural setting or an urban setting? What season do you like? Do you like the greens of spring and summer or the golden fall tones?

Here are some places I am familiar with and enjoy taking photos at. I prefer places that are simple and beautiful, but where YOU will be the focus.

I am open to your ideas for locations. Keep in mind some popular locations require permits, which mean extra time to obtain the permit, extra cost and often times those areas can be crowded as well. My general style is to keep things as simple as possible, so I generally try to avoid areas that require permits.

Brunner Farmhouse

Beautiful historic farmhouse and garden located in Broomfield. Flowers in the spring and summer & beautiful colors in the fall.

Margaret's Pond

A beautiful serene spot in Westminster. This locations has pathways, native grass, trees, water, and a pretty bridge. Whatever time of year this area has beautiful trees and interesting foliage. One of my favorite spots!

Lake Village Park/Eastlake Reservoir

These two Thornton locations are within walking distance of each other and have a wide variety of background options. Native grasses, trees, a bridge, pathway, wetlands, water and benches.

Croke Lake/Danahy Park

This Northglenn location is an oasis in the city. Very green in the summer and breathtaking in the fall. There is a pier and a lake and some bridges and tons of trees! Lets take a walk around the lake and see what beauty we can find.

Waneka Lake

Located in Lafayette, Waneka Lake is a beautiful spot with native grass and trees, a huge lake and a beautiful rustic barn.

Evergreen

Let's get out of the city and explore the beauty of Evergreen. The Beaver Brook trailhead has aspen trees, mountain views and a native grass meadow. Evergreen Lake is also a great location!

Golden

Golden has a great variety of historic old buildings, bridges,  urban backgrounds and the Clear Creek river.
